What is a prompt? Save your everyday prompts, split them, and combine them in one click
A prompt is the instruction you give an AI. The clearer it is, the closer the answer gets to what you need. But many instructions are the same every time, and typing them again and again wastes time.
What a prompt can control
Three kinds are used most: writing style, such as formal, concise or casual; word limits, such as words to avoid or no exaggeration; and format, such as how many points, whether to use a table, and how long. Put these in a prompt and the answer comes closer to what you want.
Work and school repeat every day
Daily reports, weekly reports and emails come around again and again. The requirements barely change; only the content does. Writing the same instructions each time takes time, and it is easy to forget one.
Split your everyday prompts
Instructions you use for everything are shared prompts, such as style and format. Instructions for one kind of task are category prompts, such as weekly-report or email requirements. Keep them separate and combine them as needed. That is far more flexible than one long fixed block.

- Save answers:A MindDesk save button appears under each AI answer. Save a good answer in one click and use it as a reference next time.
- Current task:For a weekly report, check the shared prompts and the weekly-report prompts, and put them in order.
- One-click insert:Insert the combined text into the chat box in one click, check it, and send.
